How to play
Mira reopens the riverside market: grow pears and leaves, brew tea, press cakes, stock shelves and serve neighbours before closing time. Eight shifts, optional upgrades between them.
- Read the shift targets, then open the market.
- Stand at a planter to gather; stand at a processor to deposit a full recipe.
- Stock the matching shelf; customers take one item and queue.
- Stand at the till to take payment.
- At closing, review served customers, revenue and score.
Meet every target by closing time. Making a product earns no money until a customer pays. All eight shifts can be completed without purchasing upgrades.
A pass unlocks the next shift. Only revenue above that shift’s previous banked best adds coins. Failed shifts, the tutorial and practice earn no banked coins.
Controls
Release movement beside a station to work. The return bin requires product selection and one-unit Deposit or Withdraw; opening it keeps the shift clock running.
| Action | Keyboard | Mouse or touch |
|---|---|---|
| Move | WASD or arrow keys | Joystick |
| Work at a station | Stand still next to it | Stand still next to it |
| Open the return bin | E | “Open return bin” button |
| Pause | P (Esc closes the bin first) | Pause button |
Use P to pause or explicitly resume, M for sound, and F for optional fullscreen. Tab moves between buttons. Game keys work inside the player.
Devices and saving
- Input
- Keyboard and an on-screen movement pad. Physical touch-device testing remains outstanding.
- Orientation
- Portrait or landscape.
- Session
- 2–3 minutes per shift.
- Graphics
- A current browser with hardware-accelerated WebGL 2. No plug-in or game-specific driver installation.
- Saves
- Unlocks, best results, banked coins and upgrades are stored on this device, plus one shift in progress. Clearing site data removes it; it does not move between devices.
- Compatibility
- Checked in a desktop Chromium browser. Physical phone, tablet and broader browser testing is still in progress.
If storage is blocked, the game remains playable and shows “Progress is temporary in this session.” More about saving.
If something goes wrong
Use Retry if a download fails. If graphics cannot start, the rules and controls on this page remain available. Leaving the player or switching tabs pauses local play. Read troubleshooting help.
For a quieter session, mute sound, enable reduced motion in Settings and pause or exit when you are finished. The game is loaded only after Play.
