Moonleaf Market: sales, banked coins and replays
Checked against the game’s current rules · 9 October 2026
A shelf full of tea is not revenue, and replaying a passed shift does not pay the same coins again. Moonleaf tracks products, sales, score and banked coins separately.
Follow the item all the way to payment
- Gather or produce. Stand still beside a planter to gather. A processor needs a complete recipe before production starts.
- Stock the matching shelf. A customer can then take an available item and join the payment queue.
- Return to the till. Stand beside it to take payment. This is when the customer counts as served and the sale adds revenue.
Pears sell for 6 coins, tea for 10 and cakes for 14. Leaves are ingredients. Carrying a product, making it or leaving it on a shelf does not itself add sales revenue.
If you have stock but little revenue, check the queue before gathering more. A customer who has taken an item still needs to pay.
Read every shift target
The shift card can ask for customers served, revenue, particular products sold or work such as restocking pears and making tea or cake. Meet all of its listed targets to pass. Producing tea and selling tea are different objectives.
Score is a separate result based on service, revenue, remaining customer patience and abandoned customers. A strong score does not cancel an unmet target. A failed story attempt cannot unlock the next shift or add banked coins.
There is a closing limit, and a shift can also wrap up once its customers are resolved and the remaining work can no longer change the outcome. Keep an eye on the actual targets and orders rather than assuming every shift will use its full clock.
Why a passing replay may add no coins
On a pass, new coins are the amount by which that shift’s revenue exceeds its previous banked best. A lower or equal result adds zero. The game keeps this best for each shift, including revenue already banked under earlier rules.
New coins = the improvement over that shift’s banked revenue. Tutorial, practice and failed attempts add no banked coins.
| Attempt | Revenue | Banked best | New coins |
|---|---|---|---|
| First passing attempt | 24 | 0 | 24 |
| Passing replay with better revenue | 30 | 24 | 6 |
| Passing replay below that best | 24 | 30 | 0 |
| Practice attempt | 36 | 30 | 0 |
In the second row you made 30 in sales, but 24 had already been rewarded. The wallet gains 6. Repeating that same result would add zero, even if you earn a better score from faster service.
Upgrades are choices, not entry fees
All eight story shifts can be completed without buying upgrades. Banked coins can buy conveniences between shifts, such as a bigger basket or quicker movement. Decorative lanterns and flower boxes change the shop’s appearance, not the shift rules.
Before spending, notice where your last attempt slowed down: carrying goods, moving between stations or keeping shelves stocked. Keep practising the payment loop rather than expecting an upgrade to serve customers on its own.
When carrying the wrong product, the return bin lets you select an item and deposit or withdraw one unit at a time. Opening the bin does not pause the shift; use Pause if you need a break.
Read the movement and station controls. Your wallet, unlocks and one shift in progress stay in this browser on this device when storage is available.
